INEXPLICATA The Journal of Hispanic
Ufology April 9, 2007 ============================================================= UFOs Reported During Holy Week According
to a news item from reporter Alfredo Ibanez, a very bright metallic object
was reported over Cerro de la Estrella. It remained
suspended in the sky for several minutes and subsequently moved toward the Mount
Ajusco region, just as the Iztapalapa
Passion Play was being re-enacted, West of the Mexican
capital city. Twenty minutes after
the first sighting, some translucent flying objects were also sighted; these were seen
by the multitudes present
for the traditional Good Friday devotions. Alfonso Salazar, a researcher and aviation technician, made it known that on
that same day (April 6) at 15:50 hours, there were reports
of an unidentified
metallic object over Cerro de la Estrella. This
observation was made from Mexico City
International Airport through binoculars. After making several other cases known, Salazar highlighted the events that
occurred some 20 days ago, when a black-colored sphere hovered above the AeroMexico
hangars at the same airport.
